release fork question

i broke the release fork on the throw out bearing i was wondering if there was anytype of upgraded verson the o.e.

Not that I'm aware of. You could cryo-treat a new one, I suppose. They don't often fail unless they have over 100k+ miles on them.

I just got a new clutch fork from Ray and he told me they're reinforced better than the original. It only costs $80 shipped from Ray @ Malloy.

With respect to Ray........ I bought one from him a couple of years back while I had the transmission out for the 5th gear synchro. There was nothing wrong with the old one, but I'd read where they fatiqued and broke occasionally and I didn't want to take chances. Putting the new one up against the old one, I could see absolutely no difference. Unless there was some metalurgical upgrade, the new one looked identical. Maybe just another wear item issue aggravated by aftermarket stock pressure plates that are stiffer than stock?? I
