GRK-RX7

so i just got my rx7 out on the road today for the very first time since i bought it back in november. it had a OMP issue and a few other maintenance things. so after i get back from my 10-20 minute drive i get back home and i look under the hood. because it was dark outside, i spotted something glowing red hot right by my exhaust. i panic, turn off the car and run to the passengers side and look under the car behind the front tire. from what it looked like the pre-cat (i think) was kind of glowing also, not entirely tho.

its a 93 twin turbo all stock except for the Peter Farrell full exhaust. any ideas as to what it could be and how serious it is at the moment???

Sounds like you don't have a "full exhaust" but still have the main cat in place. Many things can cause a glowing exhaust, and it is a seriously dangerous problem if you drive around like that often. I would start with seeing if the main cat (or pre-cat if you still have it) is clogged and moving from there.
