recirculating valve
Does the stock 7 have a recirculating valve for boost? And also if they do does anyone still have it on an upgraded turbos 7? I was wondering if you had any problems and what boost/spring rate you had to run. Thanks alot! P.S. I did a search and didnt see it, so if there is a relavent thread post it up.

The FD uses a MAP system, which is different from cars like DSMs which use a MAF system. In a MAF system, the BOV (ABV) needs to be recirulated back into the air system. With a MAP system, that's not the case.
The FD BOV (ABV) is recirculated back into the airbox. However, that's more for noise suppression that anything else. I've seen the stock ABV on cars making 17 PSI on upgraded twin turbos.
With single turbo upgrades, the Y-pipe goes away (which is the stock connection point for the ABV) so it's usually replaced with something aftermarket (when going single turbo).
