Recapped cpu, intermittent seatbelt remains

Hello -
I recently had my cpu02 recapped to try and address the seatbelt light. It still exhibits bad behavior -

light intermittently comes on, flashes with belt plugged in

light sometimes on, sometimes not when unplugged. Beeps intermittently while unplugged

what else might I try? Thanks!

Sounds like it could be an intermittent signal from the sensor itself.

That might be the flexible circuit board in the gauge cluster then.
OR it could be the seat belt receptacle itself.

Thank you. Which sensor are we discussing (location)?

Is this on the main cluster? It was rebuilt a couple of years ago (Speedo and tach wasn’t working) so this maybe been reviewed at that time as well. As far as the receptacle, is there a fix for it or does it need replaced? I thought it was NLA last time I checked.

The sensor of the receptacle. There is a wire near the trans tunnel. I'd start there and check for continuity.

Yes the flexible circuit board is part of the main cluster. It has some resistors and a few different connections from the instrument harness #2.
