Question rebuild price?

Well, it's really two questions that I have. My first question is:

How much would a nice rebuild or a new(used) 13b cost me? Because if it is not too expensive I could just get an 3rd gen. and not worry if the engine is all crapped out if the guy is willing to sell it for a resonable price, and then just rebuild or maybe get another engine (which ever one is cheaper).:p

My other question was about rotors. I was curious to see if they make aluminum rotors for the Rx-7, but I couldn't find any. I think they have them, but I couldn't find any online. Isn't aluminum a better material for a rotor than cast iron, since it has a better heat transfer?

Well, I appreciate the help. Thanks guys

rebuild your lookin anywheres from 2k to 5k depending on what you want to do with it

im pretty shure mazda remnufactured are like 2k, your out in callit theres plenty of great rotary shops out there..

im no expert buy rotors take alot of abuse just like pistons..almniums tensile strength isnt srtong enough, and its melting point is somewhere near the exhaust temps of a rotary(god i wish i payed attention in chem class)..so i think thats why cast iton is used..really titanium would be incredible, but if your lookin for hp outta changin rotors youve gone beyond limits of insanity, and are runnin single digit et's

i think with a well built and ported motor the weight of rotors shouldnt be a big concern, but im not as crazy as others, im only lookin for 500hp outa my motor
