Rebar or Not to Rebar.. That is the question.

I appreciate the wealth of knowledge the RX-7 club members offer so i wish to pose another question about my front bumper. This is slightly based on opinion and first hand experience. I am looking for comments on where or not a 400 dollar piece of rebar is needed with the 99 spec front bumper? Is it needed at all or will standard autobody bracing be easy to modify?

Thanks

modify he existing rebar. the only difference iirc is the openings for the signal lights.

might want to search as this topic has been covered before in depth.
