reassembling engine - where do these belong - pics

Need some guidance please. Over the last couple of months, Ive been in the process of repairing my engine.

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ight=a3dcadman

I have a couple of items that need placement.
One is a light blue connector at the front passenger side of the block in front of the uim.
The second is an insulator plate which I believe is supposed to be somewhere in the turbo area.

It was quite satisfying having the engine start and run first try after all the work. Its a pretty complex puzzle and required a lot of patience and it was only half of engine. Still have more to do though. Ill be posting pics and comments on the thread above as a continuation of that saga.

thanks for your input,
chuck

the second pic is definitely below wastegate rod. You have to remove the shield to access /adjust turbo control & precontrol

I think the blue plug conects to nothing, or it might be part of the air pump system.

I know mine is not pluged in. and runs (ran) fine.

Blue is for cali electric EGR. Most cars do not have it.

The metal plate is for the passenger side motor mount.
