Rear View Mirror Help

Hey Guys, just need some assistance if I could...

I have a rear view mirror that I cant manage to attach the screen.

The I have part that is attached to the windscreen itself - picture below - it shows like a magnet? However there is only screw on the mirror so i'm not sure if i'm missing anything to attach it.

Picture of Mirror - both pieces are from the 1993 model.

Any help would be appreciated.

There's a part in the mounting base on the window that you need to put on the mirror. It's aluminum and it's what the screw goes into.

You put that into the mirror, start the screw, the aluminum clips onto the window mount and you tighten the screw to snug it up.

If I remember correctly from adjusting mine, what Dale is saying is you are missing the aluminum clip that attaches the two pieces together. When it is inserted into the window base, the screw spreads it out and tightens it to the base.
