I am putting in aftermarket suspension bushings for another member's FD. I only realized after taking out the rear lower control arm bushings that the kit didn't include them. I had to cut off one side of the flange to press them out, so we can't use the old bushings anymore. Does anyone know if there are any companies who make these? Or are Mazda OEMs the only ones?

 

I'm assuming you are talking about the inner rubber bushing only. The aftermarket sets I have seen (jimlab, the delrin bushings from last year's group buy, standard polyurethane sets, etc.) do not include these. I'm not sure why - I have a Mazdaspeed set that I am about the press in and they don't look particularly unique.

Since Mazdaspeed FD parts have been discontinued, your only option may be stock. Perhaps, I am wrong and there are sets out there with these, but I could not find any.

 

There is no upgrade for that bushing to my knowledge. I would get new stock ones.
