Rear Hatch Glass

I was at a party last night and someone shattered my rear hatch glass with a rock. I know who did it and have called the cops so I should be able to go to court and get restitution for the glass and some scratches on the paint from the glass. But my question is, where should I get the glass from? The dealer or a company who replaces glass in cars? I want to keep all the original features the stock glass has like the defroster and antenna. Also I will need it fixed before I will see any money so how much am I looking at to get this fixed? I'm sure this is probably the most expensive piece of glass in the whole car.

One other alternative is a used part. On this board we've seen a number of FD's totaled in crashes. Not all of them had their rear hatches destroyed. Most salvage yards are on a nationwide parts search system. It shouldn't be too difficult to find one.

Dude I replaced mine and ever since it has leaked little bit of water into the actual rear hatch and also makes the most annoying "cricket noise" I've ever heard. I can't remember how much it was but it wasn't cheap.

Not what I wanted to hear. I'm very much afraid that it will never quite be the same as it was and will have all those annoying little problems.

Don't tempt me. I already hate this guy with a passion.

Getting the entire hatch might be a good idea if I can find one.
