Rear end gear ratios?

Can anyone tell me what the rear end gear ratio is for the 3rd gen?
People tell me that it should be 2.7 or 3.3 or some of those kinda numbers and to put a 4.11 in it. But when i look at site with the information the final drive ration is 4.10 and the rx-7 store sells 4.33's.
Can anyone help me out with this?

Stock US manual 5-spds came with 4.1 while the autos are all 3.9. In Japan, some models came with 4.3 stock and its also a common upgrade for US cars. Sounds like whoever those 'people' are don't know what they're talking about in regards to a 3rd gen.
