I just finished to rebuilt the engine of my 93' rx-7,and here is my problem ;
I changed the the rear housing but I could not find a new rear housing so I used a rear housing of 88' rx-7 non-turbo and I changed the air ways of the housing and when I started the car there was a great amount of black smoke coming from the exhaust. I again took of the housing and saw that there was oil coming from the front housing ..And there is no crack or anything at the front and intermediate housing . And front housing has no connection with the oil . How can this happen ?
Any idea ..Can it be because of the rear housing?
