Exclamation really need help here...... out of idea...some crappy voltage stablizer

guys,

this time i'm kinda out of idea what to look for....
previously, my car was running really fine... until a day i put on some crappy voltage stabilizer where my old man complained that the car jerks badly when i was outstationed.

so he got that part removed. easy job just take it out from the battery terminal.

from there onwards, i have this problem....

1) when i was idling, my AFR can go to 14.8 and jerks one time and comes back up to 14.4 then goes back down to 14.8 which is kinda annoying. that's when the air-con is on... when it's off, the AFR is 10. i tried to richen up...it works... but if i switch off the air-con, it'll be hell too rich...

2) when i was cruising, somewhere around 3 to 4K RPM... in vacuum pressure... i got some knocking reading... my PFC will flash the check engine light when there are knockings.... and also it happens when i let go my throttle after some mild boost.... i checked the knock sensor.. it was reading 1 when it's on idle.. i tried to hit with a hammer on the engine hook, it reads 11... believe it's still working..

problem number 2 is more concerning to me, i've checked my map and IGL IGT, doesn't have any suspecious area. this is more concerning due to the knock... i don't know if these are really knock as i can't hear any inside my car...

please suggest where should i look to..... the TPS ? Ignition coil ? spark plugs ?
anyone had this problem before ?

How would a voltage stabilizer on the battery stop the car from jerking? In any case, it is the alternator that is powering the car electrically when it is running.

Non boost knock readings should be ignored. Search the PFC forum for many discussions of this.

Do you have a wideband? If not, I'd ignore the readings you are getting too.

If you do, I would suspect some calibration or electrical problem.

hi, thanks for responding...

actually, the voltage stabilizer is causing the car to have a massive jerking and bad idle... removing it stabilize everything... probably that product isn't a good one...

just curious out of sudden i have non boost knock where all the while i'm running fine...

yes i have wideband.... hmmm electrical problem... that i need to find out... previously i asked the innovate forum.. they mentioned it was the electrical noise.. i should tap on to the ECU's ground instead of the chasis's ground...

okay i'll do a few things...

1) checking if any electrical harness is loose or anything in the engine bay especially in the ignition coils...

2) re-wire my wideband O2 sensor kit

3) take my spark plugs out to inspect for any problem... they aren't new... but they are iridium plugs...last check was ermmmm 5 months ago.. took it out to clean and stuff it back...
