Question Real FD owners

Just wondering what percent of forum members are actual FD owners? And what is the percent of U.S. FD owners on this board?
Out of ~23,000 FDs imported from 93 to 95, how many do you think is left ?

All I know is that I have an FD. I think probably 90% of the people on this forum have an FD. Out of 23000 imports, I would think that 19000 are left.

I'd guess 10-15%. 38,000 members, but there weren't nearly that many brought over. Most of the members have FC's, and alot of people sign up and put FD as their car even though they don't have one. Even the kids that aren't old enough to drive yet.

If I remember my numbers correct.
13900 93s
9000 94s
400 95s
There are sites that have the exact numbers published, I just remember these approximated numbers.
I wonder if DMV would have a databse of all registered FDs and grouped by state?

there were 13,879 FDs imported from 93-95. I'd guess less then half are left. 10 years for a car that people don't know how to take care of and/or don't know how to drive doesn't bode well for survival.

I'd say around 6500 left

Someone needs to do a state-by-state tally by accessing the DMV records (all public, by the way) and compiling the info.

My guess is that there are between 5500 and 7000 left that aren't totalled out. Certainly a percentage of THESE are not running at this time. Let's say for argument's sake that there are only 5000 FDs running around at any given time in the States.

My bad, the 13900 I remembered was the total, not 93. So it was around 9000 in 93 and 4000 in 94.
