Hi guys, i know the oil and water guages in the rx'7s are close to useless, i have just ordered the Defi control and display unit and what i need to know is if i need to replace the original sensors too, or are they adaquite? is it just the standard guages that are useless or sensors too.

this has been convered before but to save you a search the gauges have their own sensors, so youll have to plumb the new sensors in. They are completely independent of your stock sensors.

The stock oil pressure gauge works perfectly fine with a new sending unit.

The "easiest" places to install your aftermarket senders:

Coolant: Throttle body coolant line on back of TB.
Oil temp (since the stock oil pressure gauge is fine): Replace stock oil drain plug with oil temp sender.
