RE headlight help

Getting ready to install my Re Amemiya sleek headlight kit. 2 questions:
1. Paint it body color (silver), or gloss black?
2. Any advice on the install itself?

1. Yes you should paint it the same color of your car IMO
2. No advice, my bodyshop installed my set

Ok, I was told that black would absorb some of the light, so I'm going w/ body color. I have the install papers that came w/ the light, but any hands on experience?
