Do they make quality boost guages? I've read that some guages suck and don't give out an accurate reading. What do you guys think of this one?

They're probably just re-labeled with their name on it. Buy a quality gauge, not the name.

Boost gauge

JDM gauges are all the same.

There are only couple of gauge manufacturers in Japan.

Nihon Seiki (Defi)
Kanto Seiki
Omori Meter
Lamco

HKS, Greddy, Apex, Blitz ... gauges are made by them.

RE-A gauge is the same.

But some of the gauges are imported from Asia.
Some are good , others are very bad.
