RE Amemiya AD-GT kit questions

Hello, I am thinking about buying RE Amemiya’s AD-GT Kit for my 1992 rx7. I have some questions about the kit, and where to order it.

First, after doing some research I have found two websites for RE Amemiya, and pricing varies on each. On this website (reamemiya.com) https://reamemiya.com/ I can’t find the original AD-GT kit. And the various options of the kit (Type II and Type III) are more expensive than on this website (reamemiya.us) https://reamemiya.us/ .
I live in the U.S. and I’m not sure which website to order from, and if both are even real authentic websites from RE Amemiya.

Second, the direct link to the product is: https://reamemiya.us/products/fd3s-gt-ad-kit?_pos=1&_psq=GT-AD%20&_ss=e&_v=1.0 where from my understanding, the front fenders, rear fenders, and sideskirts are all for $489 USD, but this seems cheaper than it should, and I don’t want to order the parts if I’m misunderstanding what they are, so if I’m incorrect could someone please clarify this for me? Also on the link directly to the kit, from reamemiya.us, the pricing for shipping seems to vary from $5 - $50 which seems very low for a full fender kit, while on the other website (reamemiya.com) shipping on virtually all exterior items is $800+. Why is there such a difference for these pricings?

If anyone has answers to any of these questions, I would greatly appreciate a response. I’m very new to body kits - especially when working through Japanese companies, so any information helps. Thanks! Here is also an image of the kit if the links don’t work:

https://reamemiya.com/ is RE-A

https://reamemiya.us/ is Oishii Imports in Texas, who has a partnership with RE-A.

Both are reputable, though Oishii may have access to old stock?

Neither

Neither one of those stores are really Re-Amemiya. The .us is Oishii and the .com is GruppeM. They are both running US distribution businesses. Evidence attached for GruppeM. I purchased one of the d shaped wheels last year. A whois on the domain clearly shows Oishii for the other.

I’ve also used RHDJapan several times. They always come through. Shipping is super expensive from Japan any time it isn’t on a boat.

YMMV with: https://reamemiya.com/

I ordered a GTIII RE Wing from them back in the beginning of Sept.
I received an email informing me that shipping prices may vary, shipping may be delayed and for me to confirm the order.
I reached out requesting an upper range for shipping but was otherwise ok with the order being delayed.

Then crickets for over 4 months. I reached out through email, through what I thought was their IG. I had my friend located in Japan call and email in Japanese in case it was a language barrier. Nothing.
I will say, that while this company didn't communicate well, the actual RE in Japan, ALSO did not respond to any of my inquiries (including from my Japanese source), which was why I left the transaction hanging for nearly 4 months.

I finally charged back the transaction through Chase in the beginning of Jan and THEN, I get an email almost immediately. They say they can't process the order if I charge back, but it's ready to be shipped NEXT WEEK. Besides the convenient timing, they also said if I were to cancel, I would NOT be able to order from them again because the wing was a custom order and manufactured "for me".
I asked them why there were no confirmations or responses to my email and they said they did respond.
Which was a lie, I had been checking spam and all my points of contact throughout, they never emailed me until I charged back.

I don't know about other vendors, and would love to find good ones but RHDJapan has always come through for me when ordering things from Japan. I've bought from them at least 10 times now, little things like Greddy fan harness extensions to larger things like the HKS RS Intake. Never had an issue and shipping was always faster than I expected. I don't know about larger items that may require freight but for smaller things RHD has been great.

Wow - thanks for sharing. Did you end up going through with the cancellation or did you end up recovering the items you ordered from reamemiya.us? I ended up ordering the kit because it seems like a great deal price wise, I hope I’d not have a similar issue but if I do I’ll definitely try out RHDJapan.

Did you stick with your refund, or did they actually ship your items after they said they would?
