I plan on buying the RE JGTC FD when they retire it and move on to the RX-8 chassis (which is the current plan)

it's impossible if you want your FD to look like the JGTC..cus then you'd have to lower the car....now suspension wise but you know, body wise...look how low the car is compared to the regular FD.
correct me if i'm wrong.
and i suggest you get the Tamon Designs..very interesting and luxurious looking.
or you can try the AB-Flug CURVE one.

No, he said money was not an option. I take this to mean he will only agree to a transaction that involves bartering or performance of sexual acts.

You're right - the race car's underside is probably an inch off the ground. This is a fine for a car that spends all its time on a flat race course, There is a reason why there is so much 'fender' above the wheel arches in the street version; the car can't be lowered as much as the race version, and still be driveable on the street. I wouldn't want to anyways.

no matter. But i will find out how to get that kit one way or another. and as for scraping the body. just use the c west front under body to prevent that. Check out how the enzo & all the other supercars look that low. just live with it!

the only problem i see is to move the front engine bay stuff a little lower as they move the front lower. its not even with the wheels. NE ways it can and will be done. ne things possible. Just that theres always someone who says oh it cant be done (yall can kiss my ***) . if not find a body maker who can make a replica then do a group buy to save money

To summ it up it will be made one way or another

As far as being a road car, I'd have to say. "it looks little ricy"

darkphantom, the street kit you posted IS THE SAME ONE I posted, and shown in the pics right above this post. And it STILL looks like A$$. If you've been following the RE car for a bit, you'll be able to notice the (subtle and not-so-subtle) differences. I know I do, and the one above, w/ or w/o the stickers just looks off.

If I was going to race my car I'd put ^that kit on, but for a street car? Screw that, super ricer, even if you have 700hp under the hood.

If I was going to build a serious track car I'd just get the CF body panels from Mazdaspeed Motorsports, and a good nose that lets lots of air in.

How streetable is the amemiya kit that was on the super street/option dvd? In case you don't follow, I'm talking about the light blue one doing the time attack. I have always loved that kit, just wondering what the probability of having it on the street would be.

Is this the one you're referring to?

^ thats the drift car right? im talking about this one in particular:

http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/fuurin/

I guess they're essentially the same kit, but the lip is different on the lighter blue one. I would love to run this kit. With my pay increase, I can actually consider something like this. I want a kit that is different than what everyone is running, but I want something that is still tasteful.

Wadya think?

Yea it's the same bodykit but the white one (the RE Super G FD) has the front bumper canards and undersweep. I personally think it's one of the sexiest FDs, EVER

If you're serious about getting it, lemme know. I can def. help ya out

^ An amazing car, that would be the kit I would buy if I were to buy a FD. I thought about the fc2000 kit for my FC. That car above also runs a 56.xxx time at tskuba
