It's definitely different but I love that your car looks so J-spec in the body parts you selected and that it is a white car. It reminds me of an RE Amemiya show car and thats a good thing.

I have never seen anyone sporting that kit outside of Japan, so kudos on being the first.

I agree that the rims are the only thing that look out of place. If you go with some RE Amemiya wheels or something like Advans or Work wheels, it would complete the whole look.

What is the chance of you even coming across another FD? I still like the kit and the car, but if that's the only reason you chose it then that's stupid.
I live in Alaska now but planning to move back to the bay area soon, and that is the reason why I said that..there are a lot of FD's in the bay since that is where I moved from and plan to move back to....

Thanks for the nice comments though...

There is still more to come just need more $$$$$$....Anybody got hookups with tires so I can put my RPF1's on...lol....

^Now that explains a LOT. I understand completely and I'll go ahead and say my mistake. I haven't personally been to Cali, but from what I've seen and heard there are a ton of FD's and plenty of them are really nice. Yours will definitely be up there on that list. Congrats.

Definitely not my taste, but that's why it is your car and not mine.

Bumper is OK.. sideskirts look 'tacked on' and cheap to me, along with the wing.

But, your car is a monster inside and out, so I guess the kit fits.

AWESOME looking car Kai!

You've kept us waiting a long time. I remember it's been about a year since you said that you were going to put a kit on your car and I must say that you're car looks both unique and well done.

I know you've probably posted this before, but why did you move to Alaska?

I like the fact you put an emblem on...makes the kit look more complete, imo

can't wait to see the fenders.

I like those skirts, I even think the rivets work. BUT you really need to get a paint match on the new parts...the straight white and pearl white looks a bit funky.

Congrats on new stuff that you like and having something different.

Edit:

Ok, this is one character that it looks like

Not bagging on it, just a funny resemblance.
exactly what i was thinking like a fish!! . it looks different. it doesnt look bad actually. the *** is sexy,.

looks pretty nice.
def agree with people on the tacked on sideskirts.
looks like you have a few gaps and alignment issues on some panels but the car is one whole big slice of sweetness.
nice choice on parts!

Excellent choice with aero; the green AD9 is one of my all time favorite FD's. and its quite a cover piece in japan for FD's, especially since it's Amemiya san's favorite ride for cannonball runs. But in any case, it looks like your paint for the new parts don't match very well at all for your white body. If you do consider repainting it, I would say that it would be cool to see this car in an extreme color, because the car has such an extreme kit. I think white is too neutral a color to be sporting that amazingly aggressive front end.

Thanks guys for the kind words, I thought there would have been more "ewwwwww that's an ugly bumper"...lol....

I installed this parts myself and not a bodyshop, I will be repainting the car in the future and molding in the sideskirts, just need more $$$$$$$...lol...
