RB Dual Tip Exaust + Resonated MP (Magnaflow) = perfect setup

This setup seriously rocks. I was fearing that when I put the MP on, my car would be rediculously noisy. I was shocked to discover it was the opposite, the car is actually quieter than when I HAD the stock cat on there. I went to smell my exaust, just to see how much more emissions got out and DAMN, my eyes started burning like crazy, the sniff test failed horribly =)

Anyways,

I took it on the highway and drove it afew miles to see how it was at high speeds 65 was very quiet, it got a little noisy towards 95/100 but I dont coast at that speed anyways.

Overall I'm extreemly pleased w/ my exaust setup being, HKS DP, Resonated MP and RB Dual Tip Exaust.

It screams when I mash the gas past 5,500 but when I drive conservativley its very very comfortable. It dosent sound stock for sure, but its very comfortable and dosent attract alot of attention.

So yea, if you want a quiet but good setup that dosent compromise power ban this is the setup u should go with, I'm very happy.

Very quiet, but deeper than stock. Just like any good exhaust should IMO.

RB Dual Tip simply rocks.

Its quiet when u want it to be, at idle, its just a hum. When u mash it, it screams as any exaust would but it dosent sound like a tin can is blowing up.

Its also good, because it flows almost as well as any of the huge *** cannonball exausts but it dosent look ricey.

RB Dual Tip is simply a kick *** exaust, if you want some pictures of what it looks like mounted I can slap on on here for u.

Oh yea, me and my bro are seeking anyone selling a Commander for a PFC.

'Been rolling Racing Beat (exhaust design previously RS-R) dual-tip stainless for close to 5 years. Never had a problem with it, and it's a solid tone.

RB dual tip with straight-through midpipe and downpipe, sounds even better...a skosh louder at vacuum and atmospheric, but get on the boost, and that "go" pedal turns into the "loud" pedal

i did sell to my bro, but ended up buying it back from him. He had found a really nice fd in San Jose Cali and jumped on it,

I got a good deal out of it anyways. I bought the car back from him for the same price that I sold it to him, except I got upgraded 850 primaries, and a pfc w/ the deal =)

I have the DP - Res MP - RB Duals and it freaking rocks. very quiet at idle...I would actually like it to be a bit louder so I am going straight through when I do the single setup.

Glad to see the MagnaFlow'd MP worked out great for you. I'll be getting mine done in December.

midpipe = removing cat

Of course, you won't be able to pass emissions....

I have a RB Dual Tip, with MP, and DP. This is on a Single turbo setup.

This setup is really about the best I think I could have done with respect to maintating maxium HP, and sound suppression.

I just picked up the Resonated MP from the RX 7 store, and will be adding that shortly. I hope to quiet it another 5DB at idle, which will definetly help with the unwanted attention from the police.

Also, the exhaust may be quiet on idle, but once you hit 4000-4500 the exhaust note perks up and sounds incredibly meanicing. The note is so sweet and rough. Makes you wanna cry. It truly is a thing of beauty
