RB dual exhaust without stock exhaust bracket?
I did a search and didn't see anything specific about this, so I hope I'm not repeating a previously answered question. I'm going out of town on business for a while and I'm trying to get my car inspected before I do (old inspection will expire while I'm gone). I currently have the HKS carbon ti mammoth pineapple shooter, which is decidedly nonstock and won't pass inspection. I bought the RB duals and when I went to install them, realized that I have no idea where I put my stock exhaust bracket (the HKS uses a different bracket).
Soo, my question is, how bad would it be to slap the RB exhaust on and drive it maybe 10 miles total without it attached to the stock bracket? I'm guessing the dealership won't have any brackets in stock.
Thanks

i assume you are talking about the rear hanger. it should be fine, but you might want to wire it in place so it doesn't bounce around and attract the inspector's attention.
i don't understand why you don't think the car won't pass emissions with the HKS cat back. the presence of a cat will be more of an issue.

This? In a state where you can 'live free, or die'.
However, they don't have state sales tax there, so guy's like my airline pilot friend can get an address there, and when he buys his Ferrari, register it there to save God knows how much money. Isn't that the state where the embezzler from Tyco (Kozlowski) sent all the empty boxes supposedly containing expensive artwork, but were actually hanging in his NYC apartment?

It won't hang properly without that hanger. But, the hanger is a pretty simple affair and a serviceable temporary rig could be made from hardware store parts.
I don't know if that part is available from Mazda, but it shouldn't be hard to find one used. If you plan on keeping the RB cat-back on there long term, I'd get my hands on one.

Yes, the live free or die state prohibits aftermarket parts. For the most part, police won't bother you unless you do something stupid (I've had the HKS on for years) but I've gotten tired of the fiasco each year when I try to get it inspected.
Thanks for the suggestions all.
