red-should there be anything here?
blue-if this was not connected could it be my leak?

i was just going to change all of the hoeses on my gf rx7, its a 93auto and im in new zealand.

Consider it a hood ornament. Top left with a yellow hose going to it in the diagram. It's part of the U.S. emissions crap.
