Random dying weirdeness
Changed out my twin-pack coil, today, and got the 7 back on the road... Once I got it running, again, Came up with some probs.
Here're two for you guys:
1) Car RANDOMLY does flashing 'Hold' code (stupid Barometric sensor ****, without any identifiable way to fix it?) and fails to start.
When it DOES, it runs fine... So I brought it up to temp, I took it around from my shop.... Got to 5psi, when I let off, on the outbound, but when rolling back in, hit boost cut (WTF!?!??), pulled back in and had it idling for a few minutes.
About 10 mins into a standing idle...
2) it just dies.
Not, 'sputter-sputter-kaput,' dies, either. The exact thing it would do if you reached in and used the key:
Ka-lunk. ******* flat-line.
Then refuses to start, popping off the 'Hold' crap, again.... I pulled the battery hit the brakes to clear the RAM, and did a KIKO (Anyone want to clarify the proper way to do this?), to no avail; bitch still won't start.
W...T...F!?!?!?

Anybody? Hm...
Gonna go check out and recalibrate the TPS, when I get to the shop, today.... Hopefully that helps a bit.
Oh! something else: I was talking to a guy in Orlando about the car and he mentioned the usual regarding checking the plugs, blahblahblah.... Then, mentioned that he'd had to use some 'special tool' to get his plugs out.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
I'd always just used the appropriate deep-well for the task.
Anybody ELSE heard of this? I'd about pissed myself when he said it, because I'd never heard of anything like it, but *shrug*
