It ended up being a siezed air pump. making the belt rub and burn. I drove home the other day from work and saw the belt was burning and then right there in front of me in my driveway the belt snaped. So i thought it was a good reason to buy the greddy pulley kit and oliminate the air pump. I guess when the belt was slipping it was making the alternator act up making the charge light come on. I put on the pulley kit last night, sucka runs like a champ now. Thanks for the help guys.

oh, and i put my undercarage splash gaurd back on.
