If I remember correctly:

Press scan and Auto-M at the same time.

Input your code number.

Press scan and Auto-M and hold, and you'll here a beep, give it a few seconds and it should be functional again.

If not, your code number is incorrect and then you are essentially screwed, glued and tatooed!

It's not that bleak.. I searched for a while to find the code.. I had one dealer tell me he had to replace the whole unit for $380. When I told him that I knew he just had to punch in a code, he hung up on me. Rediculous. Anyway:

Press "SCAN"
Press "AM/FM"
Press "AUTO M"
Press "Tune UP"
The display should read "------"
Using the memory presets buttons, enter the code "1 4 1 4"
Press "Scan" and "Auto M" simultaneously and hold until the clock appears.

The radio should now be cleared. There is a time limit on entering each command, so it may take one or two tries.
