Loads of info in the forum regarding rads...
Koyo has the largest capacity but usually has fitment issues, especially with larger smic ducts - usually needs trimming.
Fluidyne is the other most popular rad and seems to have fewer fitment issues.
I would recommend a standard replacement rad in ali if your just going to street your car, otherwise, if any trackwork is in mind, get a koyo/fluidyne.
With other make rads, check if they have an ast outlet as many do not.
No idea on the silicone replacement hoses...I would like to know myself, but I dont see how they are an upgrade...unless they are larger capacity
Get a FC thermoswitch whilst your at it.

Hello Iluvjdm,
I realize this is an old post but in case you have not found the answer on that, the advantage of silicon hoses is that they are (supposedly) more heat resistant and do not crack overtime.

I am about to put a thread about the Koyo fitment, I just would like to search it a bit more but you will find people that have had no fitment issues with it, you will find other with some small fitment issues, and people like me where it does not fit very well at all. Koyo seems to be a nice rad by all mean but as you may have noticed everything is so cramped in there that a rad twice the size of the original one might cause some space issues. For my case it's pushing a lot of things upward (air box, SMIC that is preventing from closing the hood properly, battery tray and a couple of plastic air ducts) and downward (fan shroud rubbing against the oil cooler line, sway bar mount would not fit anymore I had to modify them and A/C rad had to be pushed a bit to let about 1cm gap between the two rads). I'll post a new thread soon when I have the pics cause so far I have not found anybody with all these problems so I am wondering....
