Radiator Fans Problem

If I turn the ignition switch to "On" when the car's hot (like you turned the car off 10 minutes ago after driving and you turn the ignition to "On"), the radiator fans will come on even though the AC is off. If I turn it to "On" when it's cold, then none of the fans will come on. What kind of problem is that?

Not a problem. It's called "heat soak".

No problem at all. It's just heat soak: Your engine continues to heat up your coolant even after you shut down. Once you start up again, your ECU sees "hot" and activates your fans.

yeah heat soak is an issue with FDs...thats what the fan mod is for. even better has anyone tried an electrical water pump? something to circulate coolant after the car is off? i remember a discussion a while back about that...
