radiator fan motor and 4 blade fan

well one of my fan motors died(havent fully tested everything) and i called for pricing. 176 for the motor and 32 for the fan blade. these sounds right. i get a better deal than normal since i shop there a lot. what is everything that can be trouble shot. im thinking about just jumping the fans from the connector to see if they both turn on. how are the relays checked?

I have the same questions. The fan on the driver side isn't turning. I also haven't done all the testing or even checked for prices. I heard the 4 fan blade moves more air. Is that the only reason you are getting that also? I'm assuming you can just change the motor without the blade.

I also have the relay test question.

And where did you call suprfast for your pricing.

Thanks guys.

my pricing is from a local dealership. i used to work at a toyota dealership down the street and we hooked each other up. i get employee, he gets employee. didnt happen until after i spent most of my money, but its helps a little here.
the motor can be changed without the fan blade, but since i have to tear it apart i might as well flow more air.

Using the manual as a quide, apply voltage to the coil while simultaneously measuring the resistance across the switch contacts. The contacts should open and close while energizing and de-energizing the coil.

Elementary Watson!
