Radiator blew, Need some answers quick!!!

Ok, i have a 93 touring FD. My radiator just blew on my last night. I need a new radiator quick. My mechanic said he found a all metal radiator for $220. Will that radiator be efficient or should i go with a Koyo or Fluidine one? Mahjik has suggested radiators from:

http://www.radiatorworld.com/radiato...no=15107&cat=1

I was thinking about getting the 2nd one from that link. My FD is street driven and has a Petit ast and a HKS JetHot2000 coated DP. I probably will not track it, but if i do it'll be once a year or every other year.

Please give me your suggestions. I want to save money because I've already spent a grip of money on upkeep, but if I need to spend some money on a radiator then i will.

Thanks
Kevin

There is nothing wrong with the 2nd radiator in your link, for your uses.

Koyos are about $310 shipped from eBay. FD cooling is probably the wrong place to save $80 or so.

koyos also have fitment issues (if one is ever going to upgrade SMIC).

I don't see anything wrong with using that radiator for a street driven car.

Certainly nothing wrong with it for an exclusively street driven car (though he did mention some track days), but given the annual maintenance costs of these cars and the $3000+ cost of overheating, $80 seems like a very small amount to pay for extra insurance.
