racing seats in an fd

ive been lookking into buying some seats. ive found some but they say they are 23 inches wide, i think thats too big. the stock seats are about 19-20 inches wide. what im mainly concerned about is retaining the factory seat belts. the stock seats have the mounting point attatched to it. anyone running aftermarket racing seats with the stock belts? how was it relocated?

I don't think you can do it unless you want to custom make a seat belt holder. I assume that's what you mean when you say that the "stock seats have the mounting point attached to it".

The only seat that I have seen that has the seat belt holder are the Mazda Recaro's

Yups sometimes $3000 for two seats.

FDnewbie can hook you up on those if your wallet is big enough.

I had some sparco evo's and didn't like them. I now have Kirkey Drag Pro's 18 inch wide from hip to hip. They fit perfect and are alot more comfortable than my old sparco's.

The FD recaro's are great seats. More comfortable than stock, grippier so you don't slide around as well and fit perfect since they are made for the FD.

Hit Ramy up if your interested, straight up honest guy to deal with.
