Racing Ecu Voltage Stabilizer

Saw this device on EBAY. I would guess that its some type of capacitance system for voltage stabilization.

Any thoughts on the efficacy of this device.

Anybody have one that might comment on your experience with it.

Ultimately, will it solve any inherent problems with the FDs charging system or compensate for add on accessories voltage requirements.

thanks,
chuck

You gotta love that clean install in the pic...

Will it work? Good question. I know FD's are supposed to respond well to grounding kits - one of the mags did a dyno test on them back in the day, and the FD picked up power with a good grounding kit.

Don't know of anyone who's tried one of those kits. If it's cheap enough, you can always guinea pig it for us .

they are asking $58.00. the next item of concern is where does one install it? the fact that grounding makes a significant difference is what spurred my interest in this device. still hoping for more feedback.

1) Don't screw with your electrical system unless you know what it is, how it works, and why.
2) Good grounding will get you much farther than any "black box", esp. from ebay

It's probably just a 1F cap with a Vreg, like used for audio installs - or it's a potted box with two wires in it.
