racing beat dual tip review & question (help)

I must say the rb dual lives up to the hype. Beautiful welds and polished to perfection. The sound is only slightly louder than stock at idle but when the second turbo kicks in it makes a deep throaty roar. Compared to the apexi dual i had on the car previously the noise level is substanially lower although i may have lost alittle top end. But it is definatly something i could live with.
Now here is my question...On the right side of the exhaust canister there is a flange that is suppose to attach to a hanging hanger strap. I dont have this. I must have thru it away when i installed the apex exhaust as it didnt require it. I called RB and they said they encounter this question alot but it is a stock part and they dont stock it. Where can i find this piece on the web or better yet does anyone have a part number. I would order from Mazda but i would have to order over the phone to expedite the matter and i know they would screw it up in the end.

thanks,
matt

cool cool..Glad to hear that u like the RB dual....I will be looking at several DTM (dual Tiped Muffler) exhaust systems when i get the FD.....Including M2/RB....Also might Get custom piping and Borla DTM Muffler for general Applications...I think they are called the turbo XL mufflers...

i am running a pettit resonated mp too.
It is quietier than the apex w/ the cat installed.
running the rbdual and mp the car is quiet..total sleeper..unless of course i go WOT. Buy this exhaust if you want quiet and performance.

The older version, when they were made by RSR, didn't have racing beat stamped on the tips. I would not give up my old RSR/RB dual tip for a new even if you gave me a large amount of $ for it, well it depends on how large.

I like the RB better than the M2. $550 at a local shop.

Racing Beat welds look like they came off a spaceship or top secret fighter aircraft. They are perfect and I would bet it is the best made exhaust out there. Mine is soo quiet that I have to try and hear it with my head out the window. Perfect for South Cali where cops hate loud exhaust!

I'm liking everyone's feedback on the RB, but I still don't like the tip-in-tip deal with that CB. JMO.

Anyone want to trade a RB or M2 dual for a PFS catback. With my midpipe in it's just a little too loud for my liking.
