racing beat dual design change?

hey, i was just about to order the dual and wanted to ask a quick stupid question before i do. they seem to have 2 different pictures on their site for the dual... and the designs look diferent. are the internals the same? which one is showing up at your door, the first one or the second one.. frankly i just like the looks of the first one more. anyway, just wanted to see if anyone knew what the difference was. -heath

Just came from their site, and do not see what you see.

Maybe if you send me some of what you are smoking!

You get the one on the bottom, (smooth one) the other one is the same design, but from a different vendor. They sold out of those some time last year.

All you will see is the tips, which look and probably are the same. Either an etched or embossed RB logo.

I just had the RB dual catback installed in the last two months and I think it looks and sounds great. I have no complaints.

From what I understand, older RB exhaust systems were manufactured by RS*R. Is this true about the new ones?

I have the old one. I personaly would rather have the newer one. I think it looks a lot cleaner. I guess the ribbed one looks more stock though, especialy if a cop peaks under there. Very quiet. Only problem is its hard to keep shiney when your car smokes from running rich and pops flames out.

I have an even older version. Mine does not have any etching on the tips, and looks even more stock. I don't know if the internal makeup is the same as the newer ones.
