Race Gas with FD?

I have a race against a mustang at sears point on Wednesday. I have seen alot of you use race gas, like 100 octain or 110 octain, etc. I would like to know if the race gas will damage my car or if I can mix it with 91 octain.

Basically I want every edge I can get. My mods are in signature, I have never used race gas and want to make sure I don't mess anything up.

Thanks!

DAvid

Well I can't see your sig, but race gas won't hurt anything, unless its leaded and you have a cat. Its not the best for your O2 sensor either. Pretty soon you won't be able to get High Octane Race Gas in California either. It will be 92 or 93 octane.
And you can mix and match to fit your needs

Sorry forgot to post my sig. I have a high flow cat. I am thinking about 1/2 91 octain and half the race gas.

You have nothing to worry about, if you want or feel the need to use race gas. Go for it!

Ah race gas is some good ****. I usually mix roughly 5 gallons of pump gas to 5 gallons of 104 octane when I go to the track. The car runs much smoother with the higher octane in it.

And it smells good too! Gotta love the way the exhaust smells with race gas!
