Doing more digging, I noticed O’Reilly cross-listed FD compressors with a 1994 Toyota Tercel, which apparently has reman compressors available. Pictures look a lot more like the FD compressor than the 93 Corolla compressor: https://www.4s.com/en/ecatalog?year=1994

Can anyone confirm which Toyota compressor will actually work before I order another? A part number or something would be helpful. Any thoughts on compatibility of this Tercel compressor would be appreciated also

I bought an O'Reilly reman when they were still available. Yes, they cross list with the tercel but the main difference is the shim spacing on the pulley. If you get one that is for a Tercel (it won't say on the box), you'll find your belts doesn't align properly or the pulley will actually have less ribs. I ended up swapping the pulley/shims off my old one to mate to the reman. It's hit or miss if you get the right pulley or not. I run r134 and I've fitted an RX8 AC condenser and my air blow pretty cold.

Did you fit the rx8 condensor in the factory condensor location? I have only heard of people doing this in a vmount setup, but I am intrigued by the integrated drier

I did this with a Greddy vmount setup. I had to get custom lines made but considering a RX8 condenser on rock auto is like $50, it was def worth it for long term ease of replacement and finding parts.
