Haltech Elite 1500 harness issue - constant power after plugging X-05
Hi,
I had a custom Haltech Elite 1500 engine harness made for my 94 FD, but I'm having some power issues with my car. When connecting the ECU and engine harness, I get immediate ECU power once I connect the engine harness X-05 (blue connector) to the front harness in the footwell. The ECU powers on with the key out and I'm unable to shut it off.
I've traced the wiring diagram and I see 12V which should go to the injectors and solenoid valves. If I remember correctly, I see constant 12V on these pins in the footwell which should be switched +12V from the EGI main relay - could this be causing the issue? I'll check the pins again with a voltmeter tonight.
Might be related, but I did have a power draw issue in the past with both the factory ECU and power FC where my car would be dead within a day or 2 without a battery tender. I thought that it was due to the size or age of my braille battery.
Edit: checked the pins, and I have +12V at Y and G/B wires with the key out of the ignition. Are these normally supposed to be switched +12V?
