here's the deal. i lost traction on wet pavement this evening and slid my car sideways down a hill. everything would be ok if not for a stump sticking about 1 ft. out of the ground. it caught my car just below the middle of the passenger's side door and bent the frame in several inches. it fucked the door up good too. the car is definitely warped since the hood has a half inch gap from the fender. the rear hatch also has the same gap once i pop the latch. the front fender will need replacing.

so... will my car probably be totalled? what would it cost to buy the salvage title? how much could i get parting ou the car? can i ever get it straight again?

i know. i'm going to feel real bad if i killed one of the few left. at least i didn't hit the car that i over corrected to avoid. head on collision would have sucked. there's only a few sevens, but there's only one of me.

don't get your panties in a bunch. getting the damage estimate tomorrow. if they try and total her, i think i am going to take max payoff and try and get her fixed anyway. i really don't want to have to pull her off the road.

and yes, white is the best color ever.

If you decide to part it out i'd be interested in an interior piece (if its a black interior). Sorry to hear about your accident man.

Sorry to hear about your accident and I'm glad to hear you're ok. If you decide not to put it back together, I'd be interested in the defroster vent inserts on the upper dash. Sorry, again, from a fellow chaste white owner...good luck!

Dang vultures picking at the remains, LOL! I'm gonna Saran-Wrap my FD, remove the tires/drain fluids/pickle the engine and put mine in cryostasis.
