The quietest exhaust combo?

I am thinking about ordering the Racing beat duel tip and the Rx-7 store resonated mid pipe. Does anyone know of a quieter combo other than stock of course for my car? Thanks in advance.

I've seen the RX-7 store midpipe that Jason sells quiet down even something as loud as an N1 dual.

I tried the pettit resonated pipe with my duel n1's and it was still too loud.

I wonder how much HP I will lose if I switch to the RB?
I have 435 right now.

I need the car to sound as close to stock as possible.

I am using the Racing Beat dual tip with the original down and mid pipes. This combo gives a relatively quiet yet deep growling exhause note.

I currently have a Thermal Research Catback with a Magnaflow Resonator. I got a ticket for my exhaust (i think mainly because the tip is "big"), so I'll be switching to a Racing Beat Dual Tip within the next few months.

The Apexis must have been a lot quieter in the old days.

The rb dual tip and the resonated midpipe would probably be the best way to go if your looking for the most quiet exhaust. Who cares how much hp you loose, it wont be that much. At least you can drive around in the car and not get a headache.

Everyone agrees that the RB dual is the quietest, but there are conflicting opinions on the Res MP and Hi flow cat. Can anyone tell for sure which is quieter?

With something like an N1 dual its still going to be loud, but not obnoxious. The resonator really helps take the raspiness out of the exhaust note as well. I've been a fan of the Greddy SP catback for years. Its not whisper quiet and resptrictive like a racing beat, and has a nice tone to it.

I would say a high flow cat is probably quieter.

The high flow cat won't flow as well as the resonated mid pipe.

The high flow will definately be quieter, but I don't want to lose any more flow than I have too. Right now I don't have to worry about emmisions, but I do have to worry about noise pollution.

i have what i beleive is the quietest thing on the market (*IF* it's still on the market that is) The old Knightsport Dual exhaust (yes...for an FD) has 2 presilencers and 2 muffler canisters...it's kinda heavy, and kinda restrictive. But with the E-cutout right before it... i really don't have a flow problem. It's the only thing i've had on the car that makes it bearable with the bridgeport engine. My last exhaust was a RB dual tip..

Racing Beat twin tip with a Borla XR-1 muffler added to the midpipe. The XR-1 doesn't impede flow at all, but knocks down the noise significantly.

no aftermarket exhuast is quiet. if you want to be quiet, use the stock system with a cut out so you can get a bit more performance when you want it at a flick of a switch, it only cost 150 bucks for one so its not gonna really brake your bank considering a new catback alone cost over 500 bucks

what exactly does the cut out do? does it simply switch exhaust paths. I think I saw an install on it in a TV show on speed channel. I've always wanted one of those things but I thought they'd be expensive. so they're only $150? how far up the piping can you hook those things up on? between the dp and mp? then you'd be saving another $200 on what you'd spend on a midpipe too. the best of both worlds for only $150...I'm sold.
