quick question on tranny oil

I was told when i first bought my RX-7 never to put synthetic oil in it when I change the oil. But now I'm reading that you should. I was just wondering which is better, I know that synthetic oil is better but I just heard its bad for rotary engines. So which one should I be putting in my 7?

Do a search in the forums for "synthetic". It will bring up tons of discussions on the topic.

The issue with synthethic in rotary is engine oil not tranny. Tranny is always better to use synthethic, use the Redline or the Neo both are very good and take some of the notchiness from shifting. You can also use it on your differential. All the top RX7 tuners use synthethic oil in their tranny.
