Quick question on some vacuum hoses, PLEASE READ and HELP guys!

I recently removed my UIM and replaced most of my hoses and the car runs good once everything was back together but there is a small hesitation now and I was wondering 2 things, 1)How would the car run if the two hoses on the pressure chamber were crossed AND2) same thing with the two hoses under the UIM, what would happen if those were crossed?? I ask this to see if this may have happened? Also I have a Blitz BOV and I removed the stock BOV and capped the hose, is this ok to do?? My Blitz is located on my IC piping in case you need to know that. I think thats about it, oh and does anyone have a suggestion on going single with a Garrett T04B turbo, are they any good??? thanks in advance everyone, help on any of these ???'s is greatly appreciated,

The hoses going to the pressure chamer do not matter. I don't know what hoses you are talking about under the UIM. The bov sounds fine. Are you sure the hesitation isn't the 3k hesitation?

Well if its the 3K hesitation it was never there before, at least that I noticed. There are 2 small nipples, right behind the idle speed control plug if my memory serves me corectly, I was wonderint what these are for, one goes to a check valve and one doesnt. I am not running the stock ECU and the 3K hesitation shouldnt be there but I dunno, maybe its my imagination and my paranoia kicking in. Does anyone know what those 2 hoses under the UIM do??? I am glad the BOV sounds ok, I just wanted to make sure capping the stock bov wouldnt hurt anything, thanks and more advice is welcome, thanks,

Steve

I'm assuming you are talking about the 2 vacuum lines on the cockpit side of the UIM?

After fixing some other problems, when I went to put back on my UIM, those two lines were EXTREMELY short. Either I didn't get them on good or I did switch them around.

My boost would shoot up to normal, then just fall all the way down to nothing. So I would get the initial 13 PSI and then it would just fall all the way down. I replaced those two lines with some longer hoses (so I could install them easier) and also a few other hoses as well and all was fine.

One of the lines has a check valve on it, and if I remember, that line plugs in on the passenger side and the one without the check valve is on the driver side.

the line with the check valve goes to the switching solnoid for the acv and the other one should go to the egr solenoid.

i doubt it would be your trouble.

at what rpm is the hesitation coming, how bad is it? is there any change in the boost pattern?

Well the hesitation is now gone, here is what it is doing now, it will spool up quickly to say 13psi and the exhaust will start cackling like its hitting boost cut or something?? I was boosting to just under 15psi before I replaced my hoses. There is no boost leak, I know that much for sure. I guess I will just play around with it tonight and let you guys know how it goes, thanks for the help.
