Quick question guys... I need help with the rear brakes.

I am in the middle of changing the rear brake rotors and upgrading to a larger size... however I'm stuck with the rear dust shield and I don't know how to remove it. I already removed the 36mm axel nut but I don't know what to do next. Please help.

Im upgrading to the RB BBK with the stock caliper. Anyone?

Thanks,

-93'

You're going to have to take that wheel bearing off then...and some...The fronts come right off with the wheels bearing off, but the rears don't. Look into the Racing Brake page thread in the suspension sub forum. You'll find your answer there I think.

Seriously, just cut them off. Removing them the other way is a ton of work and totally not worth the trouble. Use some snips and cut down toward the center, and then wiggle them around until it comes loose. The end result will be exactly the same -- the dust shield will be totally gone.
