quick question about map sensor thing

ok on the map sensor about 1 inch down the vacume line there is a valve, is this suspose to be a 1 way valve or let air flow both ways, thanks, scott

I believe its supposed to let air flow both ways. Its a small air filter. I actually tested mine today, thinking it was a one-way valve, and found air would flow both ways. After some research, I found that its supposed to let air flow both ways.
