I'm gonna get a lot of mileage outta this.

My answer is 100:1. No. The bottle. I haven't run it like this long enough to say anything about my experience on the filter. And click the magic search button below. A world of wonder awaits.

4oz per when filling up your gas tank is about the norm (as long as you are still using the OMP).

Mahjik..

when you say 4oz per..
You mean 4oz of premix for 1 full tank of gas??

Because reading the Valvoline label.
at 100:1. I THINK FD tanks are 20 gallons????? correct me if Im wrong..
But at 100:1 it says to 8oz for ever 6 gallons. So a full tank would mean
almost 24oz's, basically almost the whole quart..

Yes Im still using the OMP..

Can someone please clarify this for me??
This is my first time adding OIL to my gas in any Car i ever owned.
its scaring me..

Last thing I want to do is FUZK up my FD right before spring.

Thanks

4oz per tankful is what alot of people do. that does not mean it is right or does anything. that is hardly noticable in 20 gal. i think people get that from mis-reading the pettit bottle that says at LEAST 4 oz per tank of gas. 100 to 1 is for racing/ no omp. if the omp is working on the car anything will help. unless you go nuts it wont clog/smoke. just put the oil in before the gas if you are real nervous you can leave the station swerving like you are warming up the tires to help mix it....

There are alot of threads on this subject already. I know, I think I've read most of them. No one that I recall has reported any problems with the fuel filter. Too much might cause your plugs to foul...prematurely.

I'm a haltech guy too and go with the 1 oz for every gallon, but I estimate how much gas I'm going to put in, then pour in the oil, then fill it up. Just filling the car up helps mix it up. I may be off by an oz here and an oz there but i don't think it matters all that much, it all evens out to 1oz:1gal ratio. Also, there really isn't a definite answer to this questions, just read a lot and form your own opinion.

I use 8oz of 2 stroke Penz Oil every fill up if the tank is near empty...I was told to use 8oz by Steve at gotham since I am running 3mm seals....If it were 2mm seals just go with 4oz...Lately since I fill up when I get to half tank I just 4oz each time.

Same here, 8oz of Amsoil 2 stroke seems to work fine for me no OMP. One oz per gallon seems a bit excessive. Do you have smoking issues?

That depends on what you're using. I use Castrol Super Outboard, and for 100:1, it's 1.3 Oz/Gal.
