Quick help: Thermostat

Hi all,

I've just rang the local parts dealer and he has a stock thermostat for a 13b RE in stock. I asked if it was for an FD but he is unsure, he said the build date of the unit was 2/1992.

are the thermostats all the same for these cars?

The THERMOSTAT is one of the few items most of us agree is best to use The OEM MAZDA part, the OEM units open at a very consistant 180degF
there has been some discussion on the forum lately about Aftermarket units not opening as consistantly and generaly too high, like 190 deg
