QUICK Help plz. Spark plug leads
QUICK Help plz. Spark plug leads
I've just purchased some new leads for my car.
I had to take off the IC piping and various other bits to get to the coil.
I made a drawing of the positions and replaced the leads. I now have a rough idle prob. I've checked the leads and they are all connected to the right plug. any ideas?
how have you replaced yours?

Check to see if you knocked a hose off, now recheck the wires-- the one nearest the front is #1trailing which is the front rotor top plug , the two center wires come from a twin lead coil ,they go to the two lower plugs .leading plugs.Does not matter what wire to the plug ( 1coil 2 wires ) . The rear wire goes to the rear rotor top plug.#2 trailing . Go check be sure. let us know
It ended up being the damn wires. I needed to adjust the metal clips that go inside the coil packs. After taking off the throttle body/intake system =(.
Whilst doing that, i decided that mazda engineeres were on smak when they developed the engine components OR they wanted to make it hard so you were forced to go to the dealer OR they loved the shape so much, who cares about anything else?
