Chill Dude its still early in the morning on the west coast at least but you can usually find them in the for sale area just wait a week and somebody usually ends up selling one.

The price has increased on those units (which is why people are looking at the AEM unit). The cheapest I've run across so far is $500 for both.

would the AEM unit burn the coils? like some other units have been heard of doing? I was basically searching for the HKS unit because of ease of installation and reputation. All insight would help, thanks

There isn't any information just yet on the AEM units. A few people will hopefully be providing some feedback very soon. There are a few threads already on the AEM solution so keep an eye on those threads for updates.

The only amplifying unit I've heard of that damages the stock FD coils is the Jacobs unit. I haven't heard any problem with any others (MSD, HKS, Ignition Solutions, etc).

HKS has raised their pricing. Not all sites have figured that out, but as soon as someone orders one they will.

Yes, it's been recommended, by the Gotham guys who have done quite a bit of testing, to use the FC coils with the Jacob's pack:

The other ignition amplifiers don't seem to harm the stock FD coils.

That doesn't make them bad, it just requires a little more modification to use them.
