i need a new exhaust system, probably going to go with hks. if i get the hks downpipe do i need to worry about anything else, like a midpipe or anything? my time on the net is very limited so i cant go research this as much as id like.

 

If you don't have time to research, leave it alone. Modding an FD will get you into all kinds of problems if you don't know what you are doing. Start by reading the stickies at the top of this section.

 

you will be fine with just a downpipe... but do research... it helps. Do not get a midpipe, if anything you can get a cat-back, but stay away from a midpipe because it sounds like you definitely dont have any ecu upgrades.

 

It will be just fine as long as you dont get a mid-pipe.

well im in iraq right now and my cousin is keeping my car for me and he took it to a shop for a clutch change for me, and they managed to snap off a bolt on the stock downpipe flange
