However, its not very detailed nor does it talk much about the tools he used to do the compression test. Further information regarding this procedure and tools would be great! Thanks.

its just a regular compression tester which has had the valve removed which holds the needle in place. If you had a very fast video cam, you could record the bounces and then play it back in super slow mode so you can see where each bounce goes to and then record that down some place to see if you are getting even bounces on both rotors.
