My check engine light is on so I grounded the ten and my check engine light flashed one long then 5 short, 5 short, 5 short. Is this my o2 sensor or knock sensor? The light stays on all the time. I dont know it the o2 only comes on while driving or not. My o2 sensor is reading .7-.9 volts.

one long and 5 short...would be 15 which is a code for the O2 sensor..not sure what the remaining 5 short flashes are...if you started out with 5 short flashes that would indicate 05 or knock sensor...the ecu should flash the lowest numbered codes first, then the next lowest and so forth...after the last code is displayed it will repeat all the codes again from lowest to highest....recommend checking again

 

I'm having the same results on this one, with the long blink in the beginning then 5 short blinks afterwards constantly. The long blink doesn't come back only the 5 short blinks kept on blinking.

Uhhh....Why are you driving the car hard when its cold?

 

You don't need to worry about codes, just keep driving it hard cold and see where that leads you.
